  • Learned to use Adobe Photoshop to create the background tiles and objects on screen
  • Collaborated with group members for the character and objects in game
  • Implemented indicators to show the player’s score, health, ammo, and lives left

Objective

The way I made this area was to visualize someone walking through a forest and exploring their surroundings. This was made to be a test of how I could make an atmosphere that felt open with an attention to detail.

Project Tasks

  • Designed the mood board to have a set theme to follow
  • Designed the blockmeshing for where the assets will be placed
  • Adjusted the area’s lighting to a darker atmosphere
  • Implemented the proper assets that fit the theme of a dark forest
